Megan King is the owner of Fuzzy Love, LLC. She is originally from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and has been residing in Colorado since 2011. Megan graduated in 2009 from York University, Toronto with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies. At the time, she thought that a career in Environmentalism was her life’s plan. It wasn’t until she moved to Colorado that it really set in that with the state of the economy, it was going to be challenging to find employment in her field of study. She began volunteering at the MaxFund No-Kill Animal Shelter, Denver in early 2011. It didn't take long before she became a full time member of the kennel staff.
For 2 years she contributed to the care and love of hundreds of dogs. She was the matchmaker for many people and their pets and the guide for many staff members and volunteers. During that time, Megan slowly began to tune into her true passion. She met so many wonderful people along the way who helped to mold her into the person she is today. Without their support and encouragement, she would not have followed this path.
In late 2012 she became an apprentice behavior specialist with The Misha May Foundation Dog Training and Rescue. In just one session with Lorraine May, Founder and Executive Director, she felt like a new person. Megan's world began to take shape and she understood what she was on this earth for.
In July of 2013, Megan King Pet Sitting & Training was officially created and Megan graduated from the Misha May Apprentice Program in mid 2014. Megan took the next step in her career and created Fuzzy Love, LLC in early 2017.
Fun Facts: Megan lives a Vegan Lifestyle, has 2 siblings and 4 tattoos.
